Description
Go Pangea connects the world through learning! Our global community engages learners in real-world collaboration to develop skills for success in school, work, and life. Go Pangea is free for teachers, learners, and parents.
With Go Pangea, learners of all ages respond to questions related to world cultures, history, art, literature, food, science, math, and much more. Learners respond by creating posts using videos, images, and text. Learners can comment on other posts to share their ideas and perspectives.
Go Pangea was designed by education experts and helps learners to develop empathy, creativity, literacy, digital citizenship, and other important skills.
Educators and parents can choose from dozens of questions to assign, or can create their own! Questions are accompanied by videos, texts, and online resources to help learners to create informed responses. Go Pangea includes content from trusted education partners including Oxford University Press, National Geographic, Time for Kids, and more.
Go Pangea was designed with the health and safety of learners as the top priority:
• Community moderators ensure that every post is safe and respectful.
• Learners can not exchange direct messages. All communication is visible to the entire Pangea community.
• Learners under age 13 are not able to share a surname, profile image, phone number, email address, or other personally identifiable information.
• No advertisements, ever
• Dark screens are designed for healthy eyes and sleep.
Go Pangea was designed and built by PenPal Schools, an award-winning organization that has connected over 500,000 learners worldwide. PenPal Schools has a decade of experience creating project-based learning experiences that are loved by teachers, parents, and learners in over 150 countries!
