The Community by myQ app is part of the myQ Smart Community access solution for apartment buildings and multifamily communities. The app allows residents to manage guest access with their smartphone – anytime, from anywhere. With crystal-clear video and customizable access permissions, residents can view and verify their guests’ identities before granting them entry to the building or community from their smartphone. Through the Community by myQ app residents can:

Version 4.0 introduces 3 new ways to access any door in a Mobile Credential enabled building. Each of these new experiences are to allow you to easily and safely enter your building with minimal fuss. Any door can be enabled to support:
Touch: Unlock by touching a smart reader with your hand.
Tap: Unlock by tapping your phone to a Smart Reader or Smart Intercom.
Alert: Unlock via a push notification on your phone.
