This hotfix solves an issue with bookmarking spots which resulted from a bug in the used framework. I used this chance to finally make the bookmark board list you see when you tap the bookmark button in a spot a lot more beautiful. Creating a new board + the modal itself will be improved as well with the next version.

Fixed an issue with the back button (and swipe gesture) on Android not working correctly after AroundMe was opened once. I also improved the size and contrast for quite a few buttons that are positioned on photos and gave spot image grids a height to prevent the images from jumping a bit if you have a slow internet connection.

After fully reworking the app with the last version, it was time to improve Around Me, which also resulted in a major overhaul with a new dynamic split view and a brand new feature called "Custom Positions" that lets you plan your trips in advance and see what's near your stops or accommodations, now even in a radius of up to 250km.

I fully reworked the app with a beautiful new design, the option for Dark Mode (definitely recommended) and finally an inspiring home screen with places from around the world. Bookmarks are now easier to reach, Search is now directly available on the home screen and Notifications got moved to the new sidebar navigation, also available on the home screen.
