We introduced this functionality in the last release and have since learned from various users how this behavior is breaking their workflow.

Audio Summaries of Full Episodes

Global episode search & transcript search :)

Global episode search:
Search for episodes by title across all shows or within your subscriptions. Use the search icon on the podcasts screen.

Transcript search:
Search for keywords within the transcript of the currently playing episode. Go to the transcript view on the player to check it out.

Chapter & snips search:
We moved the chapter & snips search to the search icon on the podcasts screen.
