Blue Castaways は極限の気象条件下で生き延びるサバイバルストラテジーゲーム。プレイヤーは大災害を生き残った部族の一員となり、危険な漂流の末に氷に覆われた島に漂着する。そこで発見するのは廃墟の発電所――最後の希望の光だ。

- 海賊襲撃への備え
初期段階では海賊の攻撃を生き延びる必要がある。発展後は強力な軍艦や武器を建造可能。要塞化した建物も建設できるが、海賊に捕まらないよう注意せよ！
-人工島の造成
増え続ける人口に対し、島のスペースは不足気味。埋め立てで土地を拡張し、建物や工場のためのスペースを確保しよう。
-海の怪物との戦い
資源不足を解決するため、艦隊を率いて危険な海の怪物を討伐し、貴重な資源を奪取せよ。島の防衛だけでは不十分だ！

-バランスを取る
戦略ゲームでは全体的な発展が求められます。もし資源を持ちすぎている場合、敵のターゲットにならないようにしなければなりません。資源が不足している場合、発展が停滞する危険に直面します。さまざまな艦船タイプや技術の中から選択して開発し、敵の弱点を突くために自分の強みを活かす方法は？最強の艦隊はなく、最強の指揮官だけが存在します！

大きなマップで、さまざまな艦隊の航路を見ることができます。秘密裏に行動したいときは、よく考えて行動してください。最も有利な位置をどう占めるか、どのように盟友と共に出撃するか、指揮官は考慮すべきことが多すぎます。
-軍団
より多様な軍団プレイスタイルで、盟友と共に出撃して、海賊や怪物を倒し、他の勢力を撃退するか、または彼らと友軍を結びます。もし軍団長に選ばれた場合、軍団戦でどのように呼びかけ、リアルタイムで団員を派遣し、最大の戦力を発揮させますか？
