The Quantum Core was rapidly adopted for mass production, manufacturing, and even military applications. However, as scientists delved deeper into its properties, they discovered it could emit novel forms of radiation with unpredictable effects on organic life. Shortly after this revelation, a catastrophic accident occurred at a Quantum Core laboratory. The resulting contamination spread rapidly, causing any infected organic life to mutate into bloodthirsty monsters.
Cities fell one after another. The few surviving humans could only muster a feeble resistance. Human civilization teetered on the brink of collapse.
You will assume the role of the leader of a survivor faction. Your mission is to help your survivors expand their base, resist the monstrous invasions, and rebuild a semblance of civilized order in this apocalyptic wasteland.
